Happy Birthday to Me!! :) I'm freaking 1-8!

What a nice day.. It was just like any other day but better cause it wasnt like any other day!!!!!!
But sometimes it gets quite weird getting all the birthday wishes cause like i'm not used to everyone going HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! whenever they see me in school!! but that just means that they remembered or knew and thats naiseeeeee!!

Loved the gifts, cake and fun today! I still can't believe I'm 18! Am I going to repeat this when im 19?! god im old

Do I even look 18?!?!?!?!?!

Anyway, it's weird being the first to turn 18 (besides xiaoqi and some of those who are actually turning 19 in my class this year......!!) I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE REST TO JOIN ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG i just spent like 5 hours STRAIGHT reading the second book of the hunger games which i am so actively promoting to all my friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S NOT LIKE TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!!

And I'm such a slow reader, I realise. After 5 hours I'm barely near half of the book. Still have hundreds of pages to go....... but I have this bad habit of turning to a random page and spoiling the whole story myself :( I already know what the second half of this book is gonna be like..

And studying was supposed to start today, being a monday and the start of the last week till school reopens but I think I'll have to procrastinate till a few days later... New Year resolution... broken..............................

So, Day 1 of 2010 went pretty well! Quite normal almost! But I spent it good with my friends and I'm happy! And LOL at jeanette hannah and I reminiscing about those OBS days two years ago.. it's really funny!!!!!!!!

And I had Secret Recipe's Choco Banana cake today! Made me one happy gurl, but it's just not as good as my first taste of it..Guess I'll switch to cheezecake the next time!! I'm super tired cuz I only slept a few hours this morning, and I spent the first few hours of 2010 sleeping on hannah's sofa in a sitting position so my back kinda hurts....... :) Oh how I wish we'll meet more often! Love them all!!

2010 is coming in just a few hours!!
Boy am I glad that 2009 is going to end, it has been bad, but still I find the most pleasant times spent with my friends. The studying was worst, because it's a huge jump from secondary to tertiary level, and in terms of achieving anything - well, not much.

But I'm really fortunate to be in my class, and I've met some interesting people. I realise we're all so different but we fit in well together. That's nice. I'm so glad that I'll be spending more time with them next year - This means more yongtaufu/bbt/waffles to come! And maybe our tuesdays ice cream treats!

The better part of 2009, I became closer to my friends! Besides the usual laughter and silly things, we're actually talking about serious stuff now (well mostly) and it's nice like that. It's nice sitting down and talking together. And there were so many times I felt so grateful and fortunate to have them in my life! Even if we dont meet often, when we do it's like back to the wild tkgs days!

Well, I've learnt some things out of Year 2009, I hope everyone else did too. I'm going to make the best out of 2010, at least better than 2009. If I don't, I'm doomed anyway since it's my SATS AND ALEVEL YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm heading to Hannah's later for maybe some pizza and countdown! Everyone's having a blast everywhere! I remember a year ago I was at Taipei 101 drinking hot mini pearl milk tea from a kettle and waiting for the countdown concert to begin! That was fun. Every year's different I guess, the previous year I was just at home watching channel 5 which was so very interesting..

And speaking of Taipei, I would also like to add that I became so much closer to my cousin this year! That is so good because she's older and gives me advice on things! This reminds me of Kapoor and her cousin whom I went to genting with! I wonder if I will be my cousin's bridesmaid on her wedding day.................................

I'm craving for J.Co frozen yoghurt now... Maybe I'll get it later at T1. Oh and I finished the hunger games! It's such a great book that I'm going to reserve book two online now! I'm hoping to finish a few more titles before the school reopens. Flea Titan in two days! This is weird cause I'm typing whatever comes into my mind right now and I can't seem to stop typing maybe cause I don't want to stop blogging knowing that tomorrow will be 2010 but it doesn't make sense either cause it's just time.

Oh WOW I'm reading the hunger games now and it's almost like twilight but better. I mean, it's classified under YA fiction but it's sooo much better than twilight in terms of plot and everything! And it's post-apocalyptic which is the type of genre I'm suddenly into these days. Weird. I hope I don't turn into a nerd. But I just spent 6 hours reading this.

Then I have a list of books to read which I wanted to finish before 2009 ends but I guess there's no time left so I'll just finish it before school reopens! Speaking of which I've my bag, shoes, organiser and pencil case ready for the new school term!

Oh and I came across the Harajuku Lovers fragrance few days ago and I'm in love with Harajuku Baby!!!!!!

I've never really liked a perfume fragrance that much before!

I have finished the perks of being a wallflower.

I have also registered for SATs, finally. I'm gonna take it 3 days after I turn 18. Wow 18.. still can't believe it. Must spend the rest of my days well. Like they said, you won't be 17 forever!~~~~

Also, I have decided to not go for paramore because I just spent 101 dollars on SATs.

I don't think SATs will be useful for me because my 10 units subject combination in JC doesn't give me decent scholarship applications. So after I realised this I spent the whole night reading forums and trying to find a route in my life and where I should go.

Wow I'm really old..... 18!! WOW!

I'm halfway through the perks of being a wallflower. It's nice in a the curious incident of the dog at night-time kind of way.

Today, I finally have one free day at home doing nothing and waking up at noon. I love it when I have nothing to do but I think I'll start reading through my school notes and oh yeah, finishing my math holiday assignment which was due 26 november. Because we only have about 2 weeks plus till school reopens and I dont want any distractions till after A's. But maybe I'll finish my homework at night.

It's so quiet at home now. I can only hear the fan and faint drilling in the distant.

I really need to get my priorities right. And make good decisions.

Wow I'm going to be 18 soon.

I love this afternoon. I have nothing to do but I'm not even bored.

SOO im back. Well, actually I was back Sunday night. But I spent the whole day ytd sleeping cuz i was sooo tired. then i visited my nephew Arif who is soooooo cuteeeeeeeeee omg he's gonna be a darling when he grows up!

The trip was a disaster. It was SUPER RUSH. I hateeeee tours! Nobody shld ever go on tour if you're capable of navigating around yourself! It's a waste of money + time. And time = money. So we wasted money. And half the time we were in the freaking bus and the time allowed to shop at the night markets and everything was so limited, like 30 minutes?! YOU KNOW I SAW TWO PAIRS OF GORGEOUS SHOES BUT CUZ WE ONLY HAD 30 MINUTES, MY PARENTS RUSHED ME AND I DIDNT GET TO BUY THEM. They were only 15 each!!!!!!

And I fell sick like on the 4th day as in I couldnt walk straight and everything cuz I was so weak and I didnt have appetite!! Who goes to TW without an appetite?! THEN on the second last day I had a conflict with my dad and till now, we're still having a cold war.

So all in all the trip was horrible. But I still love TW, weidi and I must go there like asap. But during winter.

ANYWAYYYYY, this week's busybusybusy! Later I have soccer gathering, it's actually a senior's one but apparently more juniors are going than seniors! HAHA! And friday I'm out with my couz, SATURDAY, HEEQ'S SIS' ENGAGEMENT!!!!! omg this is a headache cuz I HAVE NO MALAY COSTUME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( SOS!! AND when are we meeting for NEWMOON!!!? mariaaa!

On top of all these, I HAVE to start studying. Two more weeks till school reopens!

And training stopped, so my fitness will be back to zero. What with all the good food brought home from TW and all the singapore food I miss. I had onion rings at the airport! woots!

OH GOD AFTER reading kapoor's blog, now I HAVE cravings for BK..... I want onion rings too :( and turkey bacon whatever burger... And can you believe i've yet to consume shakerfries every since its comeback?? :( and I shouldnt be craving for all these considering I had sakae buffet with weidi just now....... it was just gyoza overload..... hahahah!

anywayz, i know nobody cares but I just HAVE to exclaim that TRAINING WAS INSUFFERABLE TODAY!!!!!!!!!!! IT. WAS. THE. WORST. TRAINING. I. HAVE. EVER. EXPERIENCED. IN. MY. LIFE.

Lee was pms-y so we had to do soooo many pushups/sprints/rounds round the field when we make a slight mistake like not cushion the ball properly or feet not pointing in the direction you are kicking the ball to and stuff. and we ran SOOO MUCH today it was so painful! But I kinda hate making him angry cuz it really means that we're not putting in enough efforts and the truth is that we are srsly not good enough and we really DO have to buck up... so ok i shant whine anymoreeeee. :(

Okay december seems not so bad after all! I'm playing secret santa with so many people, (there goes my $!) we're invited to heeq's sis' engagement (fun! FOOD!! hahahah!), LEE'S coming back again on 21st dec, maria's back for TWO WHOLE MONTHS BABY!, countdown plans almost there..., WEIDI'S BIRTHDAY, KAPOOR'S BIRTHDAY, and counting. oh and holiday assignmentS.

Hello. The days are passing by so quickly now... It's almost the end of Nov! I better start revising soon... But currently, I'm just spamming all the dramas/variety shows/movies and bumming around at home. And I sleep HELL ALOT. Like I can sleep for 11 hours, wake up at 12 noon, eat lunch, read like three pages of wuthering heights then I sleep again till 6pm. Sleeping is wonderful!!!!!!!!!! And I really love starting the week knowing there'll be nothing on for the next few days! I can't wait to go to TW again in dec! That'll be the highlight of my holidays. Oh gosh I went out with weidi today and it was so fun!! My feet is aching.... it has been so long since! We went from (the whole of) orchard to (the whole of) bugis to raffles place to everywhere..... so tiring! but it was good exercise! considering there's training on tuesday!

And we visited the bookstores again...I have so many books on my wishlist now! But I must finish wuthering heights first!! omg and we had macarons today ROSE AND SAKURA ARE SERIOUSLY THE BEST TASTES..

anddddd, i saw the nicest leather jacket today for $102.... I really wish to have it!!!! Maybe i shld get it asap if not it'll be gone...

School tomorrow..... IT'S SO ANTI CLIMAX.

I'm feeling extremely excited!

Well, it could be because I found some really nice albums and they're all waiting to be listened and I cant wait to start on them!!
It could also be because I have Wuthering Heights waiting for me in bed. (Right, so the last time I tried to read it, I fell asleep. But that was because I had OP!)
Or, I'm finally going out with Weidi tomorrow. (And I'm expecting the shopping to be good... My last good buy was the neon pink watch which SOME people think is AA... It's nice what!!)
Or simply because the weather is extremely cooling and nice... It's post-rain and I LOVE the temperature and how everything looks like outside my window...
Or because I'm watching Ep 11 and 12 of my korean drama later... (I CANT WAIT!!!!!!)

Soccer chalet was fun! The highlight was really around 2am when we blasted songs and started to sing or SHOUT or DANCE along to them... I swear the next time I hear "Party in the USA", I'm gonna flip!! I have some really embarrassing videos on facebook and I'm untagging myself! Including the photos...I dont know why I look so horrid.......

Flag day today reminded me so much of my past experiences when I did flag day in secondary school..... I ..... hate......flag......day.......
But it really made my day when parents encourage their kids to donate or when this man said "You're welcome" to me after I said THANK YOU or when he replied "You too!" when I wished him a nice day ahead! Or when some people just donate without me asking..

People are so nice......

PW IS OVERRRRRRR!

Yesterday was really fun. Yeah we had a BLAST! Even though we met with a crisis just a few minutes before actual op, we DID IT! AND isnt it a coincidence that the examiner was the guy who found YJ's wallet (and his IC? which was needed for OP?!) :)

So yeah I screwed up my presentation cause I skipped the whole part and realised it and then rewind back... and my Q&A was filled with "erm" "ermmm," and repeating my lines again and again... but it was like my longest answer ever lah! Everyone did exceptionally well yesterday! It was like perfect for fion, sudi, yj and xw! IM SO HAPPY FOR US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And we were soooo lucky to get nice examiners! Even though the moderator didnt smile a single bit throughout the whole OP.... And the worst was that they didnt even take the Hershey's Kisses that we gave them... HAHAHA REFUSING TO BE BRIBED!!

Now that PW's officially over, i'm rlly happy, but then again i might JUST miss all the PW times we had and the USELESS MEETINGS we had at xw's house, NLB, singpost macs, hostel, school, school library, etc. These meetings are seriously the root of all the JOKES. :( And if I hear JIZZ IN MY PANTS, i'll get reminded of PW meetings!

But seriuosly it was just like yesterday that I was absent for school and got the news that my group members for PW will be Fion, Sudi, Yujeen and Xiaowee! A whole year;s worth of work, OVER!!

Well, thank you group members for all the late nights for WR, time spent on meetings, making props, sudi for bringing laptop, YJ FOR CARRYING LAPTOP, RE-SENDING THE WORD DOCUMENT IN DOC FORMAT TO ME, (i STILL hate docx format) acknowledging my GPPL position, and everything really.

BUT NO THANKS TO THE JOKES AND TONGTONG AND WOMAN AND ALL THE #$@#@ seriously............

But I've got to say I have the BEST PW GROUP MATES IN THE WORLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~~ AWWWW! :D we're all nice!! :)

2 years of ago....... On a fateful day when we ponned & met at belt 7.....

we got a super poster from the angmoh lady tho..... and i rmb sitting at burger king STARING AT THE POSTER.....then taking the mrt to kebangan (sp?) AND getting all paranoid cuz we thought we spotted MDM LENNY LURKING.... thennnnn getting back to school and sat in the canteen STARING AT THE POSTER again with xiaoqi taking out her autographed CD and singing EMPTY.. HAHAHAHA. and writing at the back of the poster and wondering how to divide it by cutting it......

then getting busted a few hours later. "Mdm Lenny wants to see us!!!!!"

This genting trip was so worth it!!!!!!!!!! (But im not too sure about the egyptian guy kapoor...) So much for I'LL BRING MY CHEM TEXTBOOK AND STUDY IN THE BUS....... Then I rmb AFTER getting caught by kapoor's mother for sneaking out, we wanted to sneak out AGAIN but we were soooo TIRED we just fell asleep and the next morning I had afiyah all over me... while kapoor occupies the whole bed to herself........ HAHA.

What can I say? The masking tape to write your name on when you forget to bring your name tag comes to great use.........

I must say I'm getting all nostalgic! Some of the best memories prolly came from all these! I'm missing a few photos tho.... the MHOTEL ones cuz we didnt even take photos! and the going all over singapore one WHICH I LOOKED HIDEOUS IN. OMG IT'S BEEN TWO YEARSSSSS! and now look at us! all grown up with our occasional LADIES NIGHT OUT and stuff! I know this friendship is more than .. FRIENDSHIP! IM GETTING SO CLICHE!!!!!!! Promos ended one week ago! omg! the past 7 days were extremely funnn! :) frm friday thaipan, ice cream chef, pool, vivo at night to saturday move at meixi's + 500 days of summer with joseph gordon-levitt to sunday full day shopping to monday deepavali at navina's + the funniest game in the whole wide world TABOO (i laughed sooooo hard) to tue/wed PW OP OP OP OP OP OP OP OP which i reckon is the besttttttt part of PW to wed dragonboating SUPER FUN to thursday/friday sports carnival + sunburn and stupid games.

I'm sooooo tired the moment I reach home everyday I just SLEEP asap. But it's cool cuz we have all the time in the world to sleep and catch up on tvshows and movies and stuff. but then again we have two more days of freedom to monday. maybe after monday u wont see me on tuesday and so on HAHAHAHAHAHA. must make the best outta my weekend!!

OKAY, LET'S TALK ABOUT FREAKING PROMOS. ONE MORE PAPER TO GO AND ITS H2 MATH! YOU KNOW, I NEVER EVER PASS MY H2 MATH BEFORE IN MY WHOLE JC LIFE BE IT A CLASS TEST, LECTURE TEST, COMMON TEST OR TUTORIAL. AND I'VE YET TO START ON MATH REVISION CAUSE THE WHOLE STUDY BREAK + ALL THE TIME I HAD WAS SPENT ON CHEMISTRY! I EVEN STARTED ON ECONS 4 DAYS BEFORE THE PAPER! AND LIT, ONE DAY BEFORE THE PAPER! EVERYTHING WAS ON CHEMISTRY UNTIL...

THE CHEM PAPER TODAY WAS THE WORST1!!!!!1111 I MADE SO MANY CARELESS MISTAKES LIKE I READ WRONGLY/ANSWER WRONGLY (OK, ANSWERING WRONGLY IS NOT A CARELESS MISTAKE) BUT I COULD HAVE GOTTEN LIKE FEW MORE MARKS IF I DID NOT PANICK AND READ TWICE! I just hope that you'll stay the same cuz changes make me feel like im dangling inbetween two mountains which kinda is a valley and i sorta dont know what to do. Sometimes it sucks to be the one watching all these changes happen and you want to scream but you sorta cant.

This is like dejavu. It happened from primary 6 to sec 1, it happened from sec 2 to sec 3, and now it's sec 4 to jc1. It's all the same aint it? I'm still not learning that these things happen. Jac told me in Sec 2 when we were in the bus ride home that no strings are attached. Cuz I was uncertain of what'll happen in sec 3, how the separation was gonna treat us.

I really hope that while youre enjoying this life in the fast lane of yours, you'll at least not forget us? Me? Cuz you guys were the best. Life is too fast now. It's the fastest I've experienced so far and its kinda scary. Cuz there are no memories. Everything flashes by and we forget easily. Alright, today I had math and gp tests and whats new I SCREWED BOTH UP.

Lately I've been watching........ (I'm sorry but you cant blame me! EVERYONE's watching!) BOYS BEFORE FLOWERS. GOSH I feel weird telling you all im watching it cuz i rarely watch korean dramas and i think they're too cliche......HAHAHAH BUT I LOVE THIS ONE!! Saturday night was spent with Lxq + Nart + Hannah!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) FINALLY. Well, caught up & talked alot! I cant wait for TPJC Dance concert and ACJC choir concert!! :) Speaking of which, I still have to go for TJC Drama and Band concertssss!! WHATS UP WITH THIS CONCERT TREND?!
And Maria's coming back in about a month!!!!!!! EXCITING!! :)

Friday was Soccer's JTS! Juniors Treat Seniors!!!!! Good food, good company, grrreeeaaatt fun! :) Our dance - SUCCESS. Even though like 1/2 of us learnt it in 5 mins. Mr Tong and Mr Lee were there too! HAHAHAH stayed till late and i was SUPERRRR TIRED! Not forgetting I screwed up Chem SPA earlier! :( DIE I'M GETTING IT FROM MISS TAY AGAIN. SHIT.

GOSH i spent my WHOLE SUNDAY (well, practically) watching Paris Hilton's My new BFF. IT'S SUPER GOOD!! HAHAH as in it's sooooo funny!! They have a marathon for this show like every sunday on MTV! So i get to watch it for 3 hours!!!!!!!!

AND I got my hands on Nylon yesterday! It's the Young Hollywood issue I've been waiting for! Kinda disappointing though but yeah whatever!

Weather's been insanely HOT AND HUMID lately! Yesterday it was like, what, 34 degrees celsius?? I HATE IT!!

I just wasted my weekends AGAIN. I should really start studying like asap! On friday during my Chem tuition with Miss T, she asked me some questions about Redox and I didnt know how to answer them. Like those were REALLY simple questions. And I answered wrongly and she LAUGHED IN MY FACE. Imagine how horrible it was SERIOUSLY. She was like, "this is such a simple basic question and you dont even know how to answer it!!!!!!" I felt like omggggg sooo horribleeeee and I was like gonna cry while doing the questions. I mean, Mrs Chan / Mrs Liew was NEVER like this back in TKGS. At least they kept helping me and they were nice to me even tho I failed Chem all the time. Miss T's just really impatient and the tone she uses on me is like so belittling. I can't take ittttttttttt.................................................. I seriously felt like telling Mrs Ang about it but what can she do right..... It's not like we can change our chem teacher. Nevermind, tolerance!!!!!!!

Now im just REALLY REALLY tired/thirsty/sleepy/blah cuz like right after training which was really hardcore today cuz mr lee made us run 6 rounds right after a full game we went straight to megahouse function and all i ate was this pathetic drumstick and just LOADS of fruit punch cuz by the time we got there which was only about 30 minutes after it started all the food was GONE! :(

Everyone should go for this!! They had bands and BEATBOXING and trannies dancing to PCD and dancefloor and music and just GREAT FRUIT PUNCH. gosh i love the fruit punch!!

and I didnt know people can dance SO WELL! NAF's butt punch was really power and helena was just SHAKING HER THANG MAN!!!! AHHHH we should have like 10 megahouse functions a year!!!!

OKAY... so that hit on my nose wasnt that minor afterall......................................................

cuz like the following day, yesterday, i woke up with a TERRIBLE headache and i felt like vomiting (bleahhhh) and i thought i was......... A GONER!!!!!!!
then i went to the docs, OMG HE'S REALLY CUTE AND FUNNY!!!! he had this disapproval look on his face when i told him i sleep at 1am and wake up at 5am everyday! and then he said i need my BEAUTY SLEEP and like blahblah and dunno what he was talking about cuz i was busy laughing

anywayyyy, he said like cuz the ball hit my nose really hard and there was like this impact on my head so my head will move back and my brain will like move backwards and due to the skull, the brain will like stop moving backwards SUDDENLY and so it's really dangerous if i get progressive headache/vomiting cuz if it happens for the next 24 hours i need to get a brain scan or something...................

IM ONLY 17!!! :( anyway, now im feeling fine, it's already after 48 hours.... but i think i wont ever try to hit the ball with my head..... EVER! esp when people duno how to toss the ball properly to land on my head BUT IN MY FACE.

now when i try to move my nose it still HURTS. weidi said the most i can get plastic surgery for a sharper nose if this one drops HAHAHAHAH FUNNY

WOW. TODAY WAS WOW.

we decided to rank the WORST sort of exercise to do:
1) INTERVAL RUNNING

3) SOCCER MATCH

P.T was horrid, we did intervals and I WAS SUFFERING. EVERYONE WAS SUFFERING!!1 hate intervals. !!!!!!!!! it was like really painful ): BUT THEN WE FINISHED ITTTTTTT!!!! i'm so happyyyyy !!!`~~ i feel so accomplished!!!!

and today we decided: no more fried food, no bubble tea (esp after trainings!!!!! NO MORE OK!!!), carbs before training, proteins after training. HAHAHAHAH seriously. then we went to write on the TEAMTJC board!! everyone like couldnt stop writing and we ended up filling up 1/2 of the board or seomthing.

OH YEAH! I FINALLY UNDERSTAND CHEM!!!!!!!! as in like, how to write ionic equations ONLY. i feel so happy when yugeen asked me a question and i answered CONFIDENTLY and he said i was SMART. It was a friendly between NJC and TJC ytd at NJC!!!!!!!
